The World You've Left Behind by willko The World You've Left Behind by willko
The world you've left behind continues to flow, to go and there you are, looking back, and it looks so fast for once, you were tired of the passive moments, but you realise what you will miss.

Thanks to *ephemere for her description!

Will! It's matt! awesome shot man. I particularly like the gradient across the sky and the almost creepy looking branches hanging from the bottom of the tree, almost looks as tho they're reaching out to grab you...
Come look at my work sometime and let me kno what you think.

Keep up the good work friend! :worship:

Awesome shot, i love the silouette of the person leaning against the tree. Really gives me a sense of how helpless we actually are against the forces of nature.

This is such an awsome shot, the way it conjures up such emotions, lonliness, longing, coldness and I even feel some nostalgia from this piece.
Very special shot, I like how the person is just a small figure at the bottom of a giant tree aswell, great stuff, can't praise you enough!

This is absolutely brill! Tad bit too much noise in the skyline (perhaps that was the desired effect) but still brilliant. Good one!

Thanks. You have some great work yourself. Do you do it for a living? Because you have mass equipment for photography :O

Nah. Just part-time off and on, used to work for an "below-the-line" advertising agency. I do this with a mate of mine who'se starting to consider photography seriously as his profession tho, even had his first gallery display. Massive gear is his tho since he sells his shots unlike me I like to keep mine on the low. I'm a 24 yr old commercial law major univ going bum if you're wondering.

A truly masterful work.

Very good framing too. And you said you couldn't take portraits. Dummy.

making it square makes it look taken by a med format camera...

cropping is very tricky since you got the trees as well as the moving clouds... you did a great job here... the previous pic also deserves to be in your gallery though mate...

nice stuff will :D
I wasn't expecting an exact square frame (4inx5in would've been ok. just square enough to cut off most of the top but not square enough to exclude some of the moving clouds in [link]
btw [link] doesn't belong in your scraps... it's still an amazing work :D
just like this work... nice and amazing :D
