Taken in Iran................... Nah, not really - just getting back in touch with my minimalist roots :aww:.

A friend and I went out on a photoshoot to Adelaide's outer suburbs and came across this paddock with some ruined buildings. Not long after I took this shot we were actually both caught trespassing. It was weird because he seemed to appear from nowhere, out of the rubble of buildings. It was even stranger because he suddenly appeared when we started taking shots of this old giant well that was in the ground, covered by an old rusted roof. Maybe there were BONES down there :fear:

Amazing texture. If you turned it 90 degrees counter clockwise it could almost be a painting of a field of grasses and flowers.

I see what you mean, might try playing around with it..

Great texture. Are those bullet holes?
Reply
:iconwillko:
I suspect so, yes. It looked like someone fired a shotgun into a wall and there wasn't any evidence to suggest that those holes had any purpose. :D

Great shot Will,
It's quite a thing, being ble to isolate
a subject as complex and without
visual anchors as this and make it work. The strong left
side acts as a powerful lead into the detail in the plane, and a
compostional jetty to keep jumping off. THis is an interesting
way to approach composition....
